The Altamira Beach also know as Playa Tesoro, has its access through the highway system for the Industrial Corridor, after driving some kilometers by the Boulevard de los Ríos, turn right on the Boulevard Soto La Marina, at the end you will take an unpaved road that will take you 10 minutes to reach the beach. At this road you will also have a nice view of the port, the lighthouse and   several pelicans that can be found on these sites. There is no infrastructure at this beach, you will have to take your own food and other supplies. This beach as a pronounced incline so you can not swim too far away from the shore, it is ideal for fishing and walking and you can find a great number of sea shells and snails.
