On the lower floor of the Old Building of Tampico's Custom's Office.   The Museum-Exposition "Tampico 1829... A story to tell" is a space dedicated to the history of our city, principally to the historic battle that stated the culmination of the Movement of Independence movement with the triumph of Mexican troops over the intervencionists commanded by Brigadier Isidro Barradas. Here you will find the historic cannon of Tampico, weapons and several objects of that time, representative paintings and images, historic documents, conmemorative flags, souvenirs, videos, books and memorabilia.
