The Cathedral of Tampico or Temple of the Immaculate Conception is a construction that dates back to the XIX Century. This building of neo classic style has its base on a Latin cross of three main bodies, having a copula with Romanic Style. In its interior, you will see wall and antique paintings. At the end an altar made of white Carrara marmol dedicated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception. It has two towers made of three bodies and on the east tower there is an English clock gift from Don Ángel Sáinz Trápaga (1888).
